Your clear and intelligent assessment jogged my memory. I was drafted into the US army in 1968. In 1970 I returned to UCLA. Like most GIs I was tanned, muscular and had short hair. Some of the hippie students tried harassment. What a comedy, trying to provoke someone who was trained to hunt other soldiers. A student demonstration occurred and the police showed up. Some students were heading that way to share the excitement I guess. I was walking away as fast as possible, wanting nothing to do with a group of armed men. I looked over my left shoulder and there were two other young men walking very fast , tanned, muscular, short hair.

The ruling class elites openly WANTED this result - WANTED dead leftists to use as martyrs.

And having a CC permit does not absolve you of responsibility, when approaching law enforcement officers, to inform them that you are carrying - just as when you are pulled over in your vehicle. I've yet to read anywhere that he actually informed them that he had a lawful concealed weapon. Of course, in trying to free someone being lawfully detained, the law clearly wasn't front of mind ...

And to tie all this back into the monumental fraud known as “higher education,” decades of indoctrination in post-modern nihilism has led generations to value emotionalism over orderly logical thinking.

Thank you. It's so hard to know how many others share a common sense view.
