Gentlemen, there'll be no fighting in the war room!

I could use more of the quiet confidence of a Nimitz, an Ike, a Marshall, and less of Hegseth's Patton wannabe false machismo. Guessing the guy's got a half-size bit of manhood in his undies, and is trying to make up for it. His job is to make sure our folks in uniform have the best equipment and plenty of it. I credit him for getting the woke nonsense out of the military and the focus back on lethality, but for God's sake let the folks doing the heavy lifting get the attention, not you.

Or we might take a different look at his “attention grabbing”.

If he doesn’t grandstand and point out how strong his/our team is and then have their 100% backing, we go back to the Lloyd Austin method of phoning it in to the Media while the warriors are giving up and leaving the Services in droves.

I think the increased recruitment of higher capacity troops is proof that his style works with his troops.

Me;h - the talent drain stopped election night. Folks were fleeing the woke nightmare of Biden - Austin. Remember that whole standdown when we put the military on hold while we rooted out “right-wing extremists”? And found, well, zero - just folks like you and me who happen to tilt conservative but are in no way a threat to the republic?

He strikes me as a bit like the recently ousted Homeland Security director, who made the job all about her …

I think you’re being a bit hard on Hegseth. Like his style or not, the man gets results.

I have never been anti-Trump, even though I recognized his shortcomings. I have admired and been grateful for his steadfast refusal to be silenced, in a time when the entire Democratic Party has turned itself into a censorship machine. What I did not recognize until Butler was the magnitude of Trump's other strengths. I could go on and on now about his remarkable courage, his unerring focus on the true enemies of our country and culture, and his integrity in honoring the promises he makes to his voters. I feel privileged to have lived long enough to be a witness to his presidency, and to benefit from the restoration that he has brought about. I don't agree with everything he says and does, anymore than I agree totally with any other individual, but Donald Trump speaks for me.

And yet by all accounts he's most likely a prolific pedophile and sexual predator. Of course this hasn't been completely proven, but there's a hell of a lot more than just a little smoke. How does your assessment change if/when the proof is revealed?

dougf's avatar

Actually, what is proven is that Biden showered naked with his daughter (an entry in her diary.) I assume that qualifies him as a PROVEN pedophile.

Gary Martz's avatar

If true then prosecute him as well. Lock up all the damn pedophiles. Can we agree on this? Should we really care if they're GOP or Democrat? Do you care if they are GOP or Democrat? Why do you want to protect Trump?

I'm only interested in defending Trump against unproven accusations that leftists latch onto in desperate attempts to find a reason to support their irrational hatred of the man. You admit the accusations are unproven yet hold on to the hope they might be. Martin writes an entire article based on fact yet you respond with a non sequitur.

Clearly you're not interested in considering the credible and multiple accusations because Trump is your guy. I bet any other person facing the same accusations you would want castrated, but with Trump you're o.k. turning a blind eye. And my question wasn't for you, it was for Martin. And it was an "if" question. It still stands.
