Just letting you know that I support those crazy ideas like "social justice", the "green new deal" and other progressive ideas like people being able to go to college, people being able to have health insurance, people paying their fair share of taxes, as you said "those are the things people are worried about"
Martin I left the IDGOP because it had become so tribal that it became impossible to be in the middle. I was called both a RINO and a Right Wing extremist in a single debate. I spent 12 years trying to educate and reign in the tea party, along with trying to get the established republicans to at least see the frustration the tea party was feeling. The IDGOP finally became fractured and if you were not 100% with US you must hate freedom and be 100% with THEM. the ad hominem arguments weren't your racist, misogynistic, etc. but the tactic were and are the same.
